The Output node

The Output node provides the final output from a scene. A scene can only have one Output node, which is automatically created whenever you make a new scene. You cannot add an Output node from the Node Panel.

The aspect ratio of the output is set in the Scene CoverSheet panel; see The Cover Sheet.

Normally, you'll have a single Camera or Multiplane Camera node in your scene, which is connected to your Output node. In this case the Output node is hidden, to make the Scene Graph easier to understand. The Output node reappears whenever your scene doesn't have one camera node, or if the camera node and Output node aren't connected. See Using multiple cameras.
